AnyAssetImport is an extension tool for importing batches of folders. It can customize the import and configuration of resources in different directories in the project, which is fast and efficient!
Using AnyAssetImporter makes resource utilization more sensible and easier to manage.
2.1. Interface layout introduction
- The toolbar defines the classification of different resource types, click to switch to the settings panel of the specific type of resources.
- Directory tree structure display and common operation processing.
In turn, all expand, add, delete, collapse all, and save directory settings
- “Add” default interface, you can select an existing import rule
- After the “New” button is clicked, switch to the corresponding new rule interface, and you can create a new rule as needed.
2.2. Instructions for use
2.2.1. Creating a new rule
When there is no import rule available, you can create a new import rule as needed. Click the “New” button in the upper right corner of the properties panel to generate a new rule.
The properties of each import rule are saved in a separate file.
Note that the save file for the import rule should remain in the “Assets” root directory. The file name of the rule will be used to retrieve the rule
2.2.2. Use existing rules
When selecting a folder, the property panel on the right will display the import settings of the current directory. If no import rules are imported, the “add” interface will be displayed by default, prompting the available rule options. In this interface, you can select the corresponding import settings rules that you have already needed.
3. Texture Importer
The texture settings can be used to match the settings of different types of files (.jpg/.png…).
4. Mesh Importer
The import of the grid model supports the configuration of three different attributes of Model/Rig/Animations.
5. Audio Importer
The audio resource import configuration is as shown in the figure.
